Une source a pu nous montrer en avant-première une partie de la nouvelle gamme Surface que Microsoft dévoilera la semaine prochaine. Voici ce que nous savons sur les Surface 7, Surface Pro 7 et Surface Laptop 3.
Microsoft dévoilera une nouvelle génération de produits Surface le 2 octobre prochain et la firme veut parier gros sur cet événement.
Les rumeurs concernant les annonces, en particulier sur les Surface Pro 7 et Surface Laptop 3, vont bon train. On passe désormais à quelque chose de plus sérieux, nous avons pu voir le design d’une partie de la nouvelle gamme Surface. Pour ne faire porter aucun risque à nos sources, nous ne publierons toutefois aucune image des produits, mais nous avons une entière confiance dans leur fiabilité.
Le Surface connu sous le nom de code « Campus » sera sans doute l’une des annonces les plus intéressantes du 2 octobre chez Microsoft. Avec ce produit, la firme modernise drastiquement le design iconique de la tablette Surface, qui était resté le même depuis la Surface Pro 3 de 2014.
L’écran est désormais quasi borderless, notamment sur les bords à gauche et à droite. Le haut et le bas de l’écran restent un peu plus large, pour abriter d’un côté la caméra à reconnaissance faciale, et de l’autre un aimant permettant de surélever le clavier. Visuellement l’apparence de l’écran n’est pas sans rappeler ce que Apple propose avec son iPad Pro.
Le châssis a également été affiné, ce qui marque la fin de l’USB Type-A et du MiniDisplayPort, remplacés par de l’USB-C plus moderne. D’après nos sources, ce modèle devrait également intégrer la 4G LTE. Tout semble indiquer qu’il s’agit de la Surface équipée d’une puce ARM qui a déjà fait l’objet de rumeurs.
Avec un design aussi différent de la Surface Pro 7, le nom de cette tablette pourrait être différent. Microsoft pourrait l’officialiser sous le nom « Surface 7 ».
Malheureusement le nouveau design du modèle « Campus » ne profitera pas à toute la gamme. Connue sous le nom de code « Harper », la Surface Pro 7 « classique » avec processeur Intel devrait avoir le droit à un design plus proche de la génération précédente. On garderait ainsi les bords assez larges, et un châssis plutôt épais.
La connectique devrait quand même évoluer, avec un port USB-C à la place du miniDisplayPort. Le Surface Connect et le port USB Type-A seraient toujours là, avec un châssis forcément plus épais.
Le Surface Laptop aurait également le droit à un changement de design, toutefois plus léger que le modèle « Campus », probablement pour accompagner le passage chez AMD. Au moins l’une des configurations sera désormais proposée sans le revêtement en tissus Alcantara, et se rapprocherait donc d’un ordinateur plus classique.
Ici aussi la connectique évoluerait enfin, c’était notre principal reproche du Surface Laptop 2. On aurait désormais le droit à deux ports USB Type-C.
Avec la génération 6, Microsoft avait introduit un coloris noir du plus bel effet pour les Surface Pro et Surface Laptop. La nouvelle génération ira plus loin avec encore plus de coloris proposés.
On aurait cette fois le droit à du jaune grès, du bleu glacier, et du rouge coquelicot. Reste à savoir si cela concernera uniquement les claviers amovibles des Surface (Pro), ou si le Surface Laptop 3 sera également concerné. Sur ce point nous n’avons pas d’information.
Microsoft dévoilera officiellement ces produits dans une semaine, lors d’une conférence diffusée en direct. Les produits présentés dans l’article ne seront pas les seuls à être présentés, et on attend également l’officialisation de la Surface pliable connue sous le nom de code « Centaurus ». Le patron de l’équipe Surface, Panos Panay, se prépare déjà pour sa présentation.

bin voyons, c’est ce que j’ai fais, ils l’on remplacé par un appareil recondionné qui a fonctionné 2 semaines avant de représenter le même problème … bref, perte de temps, inefficace et incompétent … par contre, très aimable… étant dans les DOM , la perte de temps est irrecevable… alors, même si j’ai besoin d’un produit comme le leur, je m’en passe… avec apple, jamais ce genre de problème…

Certes en perf max tu n’auras plus de ralentissements… mais tu perd en autonomie !
Tu peux faire un clic droit sur l’indicateur de batterie et choisir ton niveau de performance. Moi je privilégie l’autonomie.
Non mais t’as besoin des bordures, sinon tu ne peux pas tenir ta tablette. La surface pro, surtout au prix où elle coûte, c’est pas un miroir, c’est fait pour s’en servir ! Et si t’as pas un minimum de bordures c’est la galère.
Tu dois le savoir parceque je dois être le seul zinzin a avoir loupé ça, mais je viens de découvrir il y a peine quelques jours que ma surface 6 était en fait en mode performance mini quand je n’étais pas branché sur secteur… Et vu que je suis 99% du temps sur batterie, j’avais des performances vraiment pas chouette. Je mettais ça sur le dos de mon model qui est le premier prix en i5 avec 4go de ram mais NON, après avoir enlevé l’option économie de batterie, c’est le jour et la nuit… 😶

La surface Campus est magnifique, pourquoi ne pas avoir mis ce design sur les autres modèles ? C’est vraiment dommage, les écrans larges et aux arrêtes coupantes ça fait un peu trop “retro” à mon goût alors que la “campus” a vraiment un design moderne pour le coup.
J’adore le design des produits surface mais tous les soucis de batteries et de performance de ma SP4 m’ont bien calmés sur cette gamme de produit, je suis parti sur du DELL XPS qui me satisfait bien plus sur ces points là pour un prix équivalent. A voir ce que donne ces nouveaux produits.
j’ai une surface pro 6 pour le taf, c’est vraiment une belle machine, certes le design a quelques années mais il est fonctionnel…
